A Look Back at How it All Began

2016 is a big year for Crown Verity: we’re marking our 25th anniversary and we couldn’t be prouder. We’re also launching a brand new product line. But even though we’re a quarter century old this year, did you know our history goes back more than a century?

FROM PLANTING CROPS TO GOURMET GRILLS

When Bill Verity launched the company back in 1991, he was building on a reputation of quality that dated back to the mid-nineteenth century, when his ancestors founded the Verity Plow Company in 1857. Starting with farm implements and then moving on to aircraft components, electrical fixtures and commercial restaurant equipment, quality and innovation became synonymous with the Verity name. Bill took it one step further when he launched his own line of commercial grills. Since then, Crown Verity has enjoyed tremendous success, thanks in large part to our continued commitment to excellence in every aspect of the business – from manufacturing to customer service and beyond.

OUR ESTATE SERIES IS BORN

What better way to mark a major milestone than to launch another great product, one that will complement an already impressive line-up of grilling stars? Crown Verity is proud to premiere the Estate Series of residential grills in 2016, a product line inspired by the professional cooking industry itself, with chefs and partners telling us they loved using our products at home so much, it would be great to see them adapted for use in the backyard. We couldn’t agree more. Our Estate Series grills feature all the durable manufacturing and professional performance of our commercial grills but with a few aesthetic tweaks and storage options designed with the homeowner in mind.

LOOKING AHEAD TO A BRILLIANT FUTURE

When we look back at the past 25 years, we know we have much to be thankful for. It’s through Bill’s vision and the dedication and commitment of our loyal and hard-working staff that has helped us achieve our success while the ongoing support from our dealers and customers has guided us forward. As we celebrate our many achievements over the past quarter century, we’re also excited about the many possibilities and opportunities that lay ahead.
