Cabernet Sauvignon Filet


  • 1 C Cabernet wine
  • 4 Tbsp red currant jelly
  • 1/4 C red wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp grainy mustard
  • 1 Tbsp garlic
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp oregano
  • 2, 6 oz tenderloins


  1. Combine first six ingredients and marinate steak for a minimum of 1/2 hour or over night.
  2. Remove steak from marinade and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Then grill at 400F for 2 -3 minutes per side or as desired.
  4. In the meantime put the marinade in a pan and bring to a boil. Reduce by 1/2 or 3/4.


  1. Pour sauce all over steak.
  2. Serve with roasted potatoes, fresh green beans and cherry tomatoes.
