On Saturday, December 11th, disastrous tornadoes ripped through Kentucky, leaving endless destruction and chaos. One of those storms caused a direct hit to our facility in Bowling Green, leaving it unrecognizable. We are fortunate and thankful to report that all employees were evacuated, and no injuries or fatalities occurred. Unfortunately, our factory and all the contents within it have been destroyed.
As proud members and residents of the Bowling Green community, we are saddened by the devastation left behind in the Western Kentucky area. We have seen the impact this has made, and, for this reason, our focus now is to help those in our community get back on their feet. Our Founder and CEO, Bill Verity, is on site and will remain in the community to not only help our team but be a part of the rebuilding process.
As we ensure the continued safety of our community, employees, and local partners, we are also considering our next steps. Our headquarters in Brantford, Canada is open and will continue manufacturing and shipping as normal while we work through the rebuild plan in Bowling Green. We will do what we can to close the inventory gap this catastrophe has created. In the coming days and weeks, we will communicate our exact impact and our plan to overcome it.
Our team is here to support you with any questions you may have.
We thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
President, Crown Verity Inc.
